Your Dashboard Is Green. Your Enterprise May Not Be.
A dashboard can accurately report functional performance and still fail to explain whether the enterprise is working as one system.
Most executive dashboards mirror the organizational chart. That makes them useful for managing functions, but incomplete for understanding what happens across handoffs, dependencies, decisions, and customer journeys. A green function does not automatically create a green enterprise.

Try this in your next leadership conversation
At your next executive review, choose one green KPI and ask what happens immediately upstream and downstream of it. Look for delay, rework, escalation, repeat contact, manual workaround, or transferred burden.
