DOS™ Digital Workshop Experience

Bring one decision. See the enterprise differently.™

A five-minute customer-focused experience from the DOS™ Customer Value and Enterprise Economics Workshop. Start with the outcome the customer should experience, then test whether the enterprise is actually creating value—or simply moving cost, effort, delay, and risk somewhere else.

Define Value. See the Whole Cost. Prove the Benefit. Reinvest in Capability.™

The Executive Problem

Local improvement can still create a worse enterprise outcome.

A project can finish, a department can hit its cost target, and a service metric can improve while customer effort, employee workarounds, failure demand, risk, or lifecycle cost increase elsewhere. DOS™ brings those consequences into the same executive decision.

Enterprise value is the net improvement created across the whole system after friction, trade-offs, and sustainability are considered.™This experience is intentionally brief. It demonstrates the DOS™ decision logic; it does not replace the controlled workshop, assessment, financial validation, or implementation process.
Interactive Executive Value Lab

Start with the customer. Follow the value.

Choose one real operating outcome. The lab will challenge the decision through six DOS™ moves and create a short Executive Value Snapshot.

01 — Define Value

What outcome are you trying to improve for the customer?

Start with the outcome the relationship exists to create—not the internal activity used to deliver it.

Choose one customer outcome.
02 — See the Whole System

All of the local scorecards are green. Did the enterprise create value?

Customer Support hits response time. Operations hits cost. Technology completes the project. Finance records savings. The customer outcome is not yet part of the picture.

DOS™ challenge: Completion, savings, satisfaction, or delivery can be evidence—but none is automatically whole-system value. The question is what changed for the customer, workforce, operating system, economics, risk, and future capability.
03 — Diagnose Friction

Where does the enterprise make value harder to create?

Select up to three conditions you see most often. These are signals of organizational friction, failure demand, lost capacity, or transferred burden.

Select 1–3 conditions.
04 — Decide

Leadership wants 5% lower operating expense. What should be tested first?

Choose the questions you would want answered before making a broad resource reduction.

Balanced Value Decision Test™: Does the intervention remove failure—or merely remove resources?
Choose at least two tests.
05 — Realize

What evidence would tell you the improvement actually created value?

Choose the measures you would want connected in the executive evidence chain.

Choose at least three measures.
06 — Reinvest

If the change releases capacity or creates verified benefit, what happens next?

The value is not fully institutionalized until leadership decides how the gain will be governed, protected, and used to strengthen future capability.

Choose how the benefit would be governed.
Your DOS™ Executive Value Snapshot

What changed when you looked at the whole system?

This is an executive signal—not a formal DOS™ assessment. It shows the questions the full workshop turns into evidence, decisions, operating artifacts, and a 90-day value agenda.

Customer Outcome

The workshop would define the customer outcome and the evidence that proves it.

Likely Enterprise Exposure

These conditions are candidates for friction, failure demand, lost capacity, or value transfer.

Value Risk

The full DOS™ process tests customer, workforce, operational, financial, risk, and capability consequences before accepting the claim.

Evidence Chain

Evidence becomes useful when outcome, driver, protective, financial, risk, and capability measures are connected.

Executive QuestionBefore changing resources, can leadership demonstrate which work should cease, where burden could move, what the customer will experience, and which capability must be protected?

This was five minutes.

The full workshop uses your enterprise evidence to build a customer-value definition, maturity profile, Total Cost-to-Serve™ view, friction and transfer register, value hypothesis, executive scorecard, portfolio decision, reinvestment logic, and no more than three 90-day priorities.

What the Full Program Unlocks

From insight to an operating toolkit your leadership team can use.

The Digital Value Lab demonstrates the logic. The full program turns it into controlled assessments, evidence, executive decisions, operating artifacts, coaching, and repeatable enterprise capability.

Toolkit

Enterprise Value Assessment™

Ten capabilities, evidence, cross-functional variance, maturity, constraints, owners, and next actions.

Toolkit

Customer Value Model™

Connect customer outcomes to strategic, operational, workforce, financial, risk, and enterprise-capability value.

Decision Tool

Executive Value Equation™

Test strategic alignment, sustainability, whole-system value, and enterprise friction before accepting the value claim.

Economics

Total Cost-to-Serve™

Trace complete lifecycle economics, including direct, shared, failure, friction, risk, recovery, and capability cost.

Diagnosis

Friction & Value Leakage Toolkit

Expose workarounds, rework, escalation, approval delay, lost capacity, recovery burden, and transferred cost.

Governance

Enterprise Value Metrics™

Build the metric chain, scorecard, value bridge, realization roadmap, and evidence required for executive decisions.

Decision Lab

Portfolio & Reinvestment Toolkit

Fund, stage, accelerate, defer, consolidate, redesign, stop, or institutionalize based on enterprise evidence.

Implementation

30–60–90 Value Roadmap

Focus leadership on no more than three consequential priorities with owners, baselines, evidence, forums, and decisions.

Executive Education Pathway

Choose the depth that matches the decision.

DOS™ can begin with an executive conversation and expand into a governed operating capability. Each format produces a defined output rather than generic training attendance.

Board / CEO Briefing

90 Minutes

Align the value language, customer outcome, oversight questions, and executive decision standard.

Output: value mandate + executive questions
Executive Diagnostic

3 Hours

Assess maturity, Total Cost-to-Serve™, friction, leakage, and benefit evidence.

Output: baseline + immediate decisions
Executive Workshop

1 Day

Build the core customer-value and enterprise-economics architecture around real enterprise conditions.

Output: core workshop artifact set
Value & Economics Lab

2 Days

Complete segment economics, portfolio choices, dashboards, simulations, and operating cases.

From Workshop to Enterprise Capability

Education is the beginning of application—not the end of it.

Use the workshop to establish a shared operating language. Extend it through controlled toolkits, manager coaching, certification, Train-the-Trainer, and the DOS™ Executive Platform.
